We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior UX/UI Designer, assigned with a specific role, Chapter Lead, to drive the design strategy and execution across our digital products. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, foster a culture of design excellence, and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to deliver outstanding results.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and Inspire: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of UX/UI designers, fostering creativity, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Strategic Design Leadership: Define and implement UX/UI vision and strategy aligned with business goals, ensuring a unified design language and consistent user experience across all platforms.
- Project Oversight: Oversee the full design process, from research and ideation to prototyping, testing, and final execution, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with business specialists, engineers, marketers, and other stakeholders to integrate user-centered design practices into product development.
- Experiment with AI-Accelerated Design Delivery: Leverage cutting-edge AI design tools (Lovable, Replit, v0, Cursor, etc.) to rapidly prototype and iterate on UX concepts, enabling dramatic reduction in concept-to-prototype timelines while maintaining design quality
- Rapid Design Synthesis: Utilize AI-powered workflows to distill complex requirements into refined UI solutions within compressed timeframes.
- User Research & Testing: Guide user research, usability testing, and data-driven design decisions to continuously improve product usability and customer satisfaction.
- Design Systems & Standards: Develop and maintain design systems, frameworks, and style guides to ensure scalability and consistency across digital products. Collaborate with DT central teams Design team.
- Performance & Quality: Ensure the highest standards of design quality and user experience, using analytics and feedback to drive continuous improvement
- Stakeholder Communication: Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders, advocating for the user and the value of design at every stage.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design,
- Proven experience in telecommunications or e-commerce environments is highly desirable,
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital products and leadership in design projects,
- Expertise in modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD),
- Experience in AI-augmented design workflows, including prompt engineering for design generation and ability to efficiently translate business requirements into functional prototypes using AI assistance,
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the technical aspects of product development,
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills,
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, mentor teams, and deliver user-centric solutions in fast-paced settings,
- Proficiency in English (at least B2 level) and Slovak (at least C1 level).
- This position is available with a start date soonest 1st of January 2026.
