Key Responsibilities
- Your responsibilities will include: design, implement, and optimize advanced data and analytics solutions on the Microsoft Fabric or Azure platform.
- Design and architect modern data platforms, analytics, and BI solutions using Microsot Azure or Fabric (including OneLake, Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI, etc.)
- Translate business requirements into scalable and secure technical architectures.
- Guide and support implementation teams in deploying and configuring Microsoft Fabric services.
- Conduct architecture reviews, assessments, and technical workshops with clients.
- Provide expert-level technical guidance and thought leadership to clients.
- Create technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and design patterns.
- You will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud architectures tailored to business needs.
Personality requirements and skills
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer working with Azure data services.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Engineering, Lakehouse, Pipelines, and Dataflows.
- Strong command of SQL and PySpark.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT methodologies, and data modeling (Kimball/Inmon/Medallion).
- Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Nice to have experiences in Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and Azure Storage technologies.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Willingness to visit Bratislava – ad hoc trips
